I’ve been struggling recently with my skin a lot. I haven’t exactly figured out why yet but I’m working on it. My skin has been severely breaking out and therefore inevetably while I get it under control I have been getting acne scars. This is why I was so happy to try out the Swiss Clinic line with its skin roller. I had heard before of derma rolling and people were all pleasantly surprised but I was a bit scared with the whole concept of rolling needles on my skin. Obviously, I now realise that there was nothing to be scared about.

The Swiss Clinic Skin Renewal products consists a rejuvenating serum which stimulates the production of collagen and promotes new skin and a skin roller that comes in 0.2 or 0.5mm. The magic behind the skin roller is that it creates tiny little holes in your skin, that are not painful and can’t be seen, but it makes the skin thinks it’s damaged and triggers the healing process and the production of collagen. Pretty genius I know! The micro holes in your skin allows the serum and any product you put on top to be 300% better absorbed by the skin. This reduces fine lines, scars, wrinkles, enlarged pores and improves elasticity. This set is highly recommended to be used with a sanitizer for the skin roller. You should use it consistently for 5 to 7 days and then give your skin a rest for the same amount of time.

The first time using the roller along with the serum, I felt that my skin was a lot smoother. I have now been using them for a week and can definitely see an improvement in my skin. The pores along my nose and cheek appear smaller. The scars on my cheek because of recent acne seem less red and less noticeable. I can definetly see my scars fading even more with a little bit more time. I loved how the products where packaged, feels very luxurious and professional. It seemed like they knew well the science behind their products and it definetly proved me right.

I would definetly recommend Swiss Clinic Renewal line to anyone suffering from scars, enlarged pores and wrinkles who are looking for cheaper and home friendly option to some more expensive treatments like laser.

Any tips on how to deal with “small” but regular acne ?

I would definitely try and look at your diet, skincare can only do so much, especially if it’s regular. If you really want to get rid of it permanently, you should try and find the root cause. Maybe it’s something you’re allergic too, you can try out for example a week cutting out gluten another cutting out dairy etc…also I got a blood test done to see if I wasn’t missing anything (zinc deficiency often is the cause of acne). Skincare wise, I would make sure to really clean your face well cause small acne is often just clogged pores and keep your skincare to minimal non fragranced product. Hope that helps, I know acne is so annoying I’m dealing with it right now and it can really affect your mood but don’t worry you’ll get rid of it 🙂
      Kisses xxx
